PADI recommends completing a refresher when it has been more than six months since your last dive.
Refresher Required

Morning or afternoon refresher
The refresher is offered as a half-day experience with morning and afternoon scheduling.
Begin at 8:00 AM and finish at approximately 11:30 AM.
Begin at 1:00 PM and finish at approximately 4:40 PM.
There is no minimum number of participants required for the refresher to operate.
One shallow open-water dive
After your confined-water skills review, you'll complete a shallow guided dive where you can put those refreshed skills back into practice.
Refresher requirements
Participants must already hold a recognized scuba certification.
You'll review important scuba concepts and safety procedures with your instructor.
Key scuba skills are practiced before progressing to the open-water portion.
Finish the experience with one instructor-led shallow reef dive.

Do I need to already be scuba certified?
Yes. The refresher is designed for divers who already hold a recognized scuba certification.

Where is the refresher dive?
The dive is normally completed at Hol Chan when conditions allow. Final locations may change based on weather, sea conditions and instructor discretion.
What times are available?
Morning sessions normally run from 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM. Afternoon sessions normally run from 1:00 PM to 4:40 PM.
Is scuba equipment included?
Yes. Required scuba equipment, tank and weights are included with the refresher.
Is there a minimum number of divers?
No. There is no minimum number of participants required for the refresher to operate.
Are GST and park fees included?
A 12.5% Government Sales Tax is additional. Marine park fees are also additional when applicable to the dive location.
