PADI Rescue Diver requires qualifying CPR and First Aid training completed within the previous 24 months. Emergency First Response can be completed with BPDC before beginning your in-water Rescue training.

CPR, First Aid & Practical Scenarios
Work through emergency-response concepts with your instructor, practice CPR and First Aid skills and apply what you've learned during practical scenarios.
There is no fixed public start and finish time. BPDC will coordinate your EFR training schedule when arranging the course.

Smaller practical groups allow students to participate directly in the skills practice and instructor-led scenarios.

Does EFR satisfy the Rescue Diver prerequisite?
Yes. Emergency First Response provides the CPR and First Aid training required for PADI Rescue Diver.
Why would Rescue Diver take three days instead of two?
A student who does not already have qualifying CPR and First Aid training from within the previous 24 months can complete EFR first. This adds approximately one training day before the two-day Rescue Diver practical course.

No. A 12.5% Government Sales Tax is additional, bringing the course total to $208.13 USD including GST.
