BPDC states that its rental equipment is serviced and updated regularly. Every diver remains responsible for inspecting the setup they will use, completing a buddy or instructor check and reporting concerns before entry.

How large are BPDC dive groups?
BPDC currently publishes a maximum of six divers per guide. The team may organize smaller groups or make other adjustments based on experience, training, conditions and operational needs.
What proof should a certified diver bring?
Bring a physical or verifiable digital certification from a recognized training agency and share your certification level, logged experience and the date of your most recent dive.
Can a trip change because of weather?
Yes. Wind, waves, visibility, official restrictions and other marine conditions can change a route, site, timing or departure. BPDC makes the final operational decision for the day.
Should I consider dive accident insurance?
Many ordinary health and travel policies limit scuba-related coverage. Review a dedicated dive accident option and its exclusions before traveling; ask BPDC about any current DAN information available at the shop.
What if I feel unwell or uncomfortable before a dive?
Tell the BPDC team immediately and do not enter the water while ill, impaired or unable to equalize safely. Medical clearance may be required depending on the activity and your health information.
